I am 20 years old from Ramsey in the Isle of man. Where is the Isle of man? I hear you say, well it lies in the center of the Irish sea, between England and Ireland, and on a clear day, if you stand on the top of the islands only mountain, Snaefel, it is said that you can see five kingdoms, those being: England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Heaven. It is also the home to the Isle of Man TT races, regarded by top motorbike racers as the most demanding course in the world, and at 37¾ miles per lap (thats 60¾ km to all you metric people) it's hardly surprising.
I have just completed a HND (Higher National Diploma) in Civil Engineering (this doesn't mean Im a boring git) at Napier University, Edinburgh and I have returned to do a degree in the same subject. I like just about every type of music, rock to disco, dance to heavy metal. Favourate artists and groups include Queen, Pink Floyd, Blind Guardian, Sash, Offspring, Natalie Imbruglia, Terrorvision, Republica, U2, Sarah McLauchlan... you get the idea. My favourate albums in my current collection will be Pink Floyd - The Division Bell and my two new purchases, Massive Attack - Mezzanine and Morcheeba - Big Calm.
My girlfriends name is Katrina, she is 18 years old from a small town called Armadale in West Lothian, Scotland. She too is at Napier University studying Biology. We met through a mutual friend, Rosanne, from the university kayak club I go to. We all met up at the kayaking instructer's flat before going on to the university christmas night out in a local club. After that night I didn't see her again untill the new year shortly after a party at her flat when I went to visit them. Everyone went up to the union and played pool for a while before going to McDonalds and then and back to their flat for a game of Quake on the N64. Not being used to the controller, she beat me.... big time, but now I'm more used to the controller, I can beat her too :o) allthough she does still win sometimes (far too much for my liking *grin* ). Anyway, thats her and she's great. :o)
If you get bored, or just want more info
